Where can I eat around Sonoma Plaza?

In addition to all the wine and cheese stops, you will also find a variety of full-service restaurants around Sonoma Plaza. There are also eateries specializing in various European and Himalayan dining. Most restaurants are an easy walk from the square. If you fancy something more nautical there's the Sonoma-Meritage Martini Oyster Bar & Grille. In addition to the raw bar, Chef Carlo Cavallo, a former genetic scientists, creates Italian-inspired fare as well as traditional seafood selections. 

What is there to do at Sonoma Plaza?

It seems like there's always something happening in Sonoma Plaza. In addition to admiring the historic architecture, fine shops, and quaint restaurants, there are many events that take place in and around the plaza. On Saturdays and Tuesdays, the farmer's market open's to the public. Artists descend upon the plaza every Friday for a show and wine tasting at Sunflower Cafe. The first Friday of the month is the Arts Guild of Sonoma Reception, which is held in the plaza. On Saturday nights, music fans can enjoy live jazz at the Plaza Bistro.
